Teignmouth view

I stopped the car to take this, it looked so incredibly beautiful.

incoming meets river

this is the mouth of the Teign estuary, where the river is flowing fast out to sea and the tide is coming inwards. It's an incredibly dangerous spot for swimmers and dogs, as the currents pass over the top of each other dragging things down beneath them.

I should have moved to the right...

Shutting his eyes is his way of ignoring my calls to come out!

Harry

Harry steals Gyp's bed....

We daren't buy him one as he goes potty when he is allowed in it, for starters he can't actually fit in it but forces himself in anyway...

Good job we have nice quiet lanes for babies.

This was actually quite a test for him because round the corner behind him where huge piles of felled logs some 10 feet high stacked ready for collection on both sides of the lane. Even older horses spook and try to turn round. He stopped, looked, and walked past them, good boy he is.

Tally (Narramore Party Girl) about to go hunting!

Tally

This is Tally now a four year old with her owner about to go hunting.
Inside her card was a lovely letter saying how pleased she is with her, and thanking me for selling her to her.
It makes up a bit for losing Jez when you know the horses you're breeding are turning out well.

My little secret....

is where I slope off to five days a week for a quick swim, then sit in a deckchair looking at the view. It's only 6 mins drive from home and such a luxury to have time to myself and often there is just me in the pool.
You also get unlimited huge fluffy white towels, power showers, shampoo/conditioner/shower cream, a hairdrier to use, even a bag to take your wet swimsuit away in.. The changing room floors are heated and they offer to park your car for you (mine is so full of junk I haven't dared accept!)

Autumn colours

I wish I had my camera yesterday, then the sun shone on the woods of the valley opposite making them look on fire; today it's clearer air but the effect isn't there.

the view from the back garden is super in Autumn

Free rug..

The free rug Chocx won from Ellehorsehoorfware has proved it's worth, it's light enough to provide wind and light rain shelter but not so heavy he sweats under it. I was so pleased I ordered more.

Those pesky burrs...

If there is one job I struggle with every autumn it's removing those burrs from their manes and tails. This pony has manged to get them in her forelock and mane, and even though I have removed them three times she returns to the same weed time and time again and gets more..
