Layla

Advert picture? This lovely 6 year old selle francais is 16 2 hh of total pleasure. Trainable, (this pic was taken five mins after not being ridden for months), the sweetest nature imaginable and willing jump. She is good to clip/box/catch/shoe and in traffic, nad as you can see has two small blemishes on her knees due to an accident. the vet has X rayed her totally injury free apart from some hair loss and is happy to discuss her with any potential purchasers.
I'm hoping to find a home where they can exploit her dressage potential and appreciate this is an exceptionally sensible horse as well as talented.

The herd

This lot aren't supposed to be in here, but they squeezed through a gap in the fence... It's not going ot be easy persuading them back to sparser grazing!

Look, why do we have to keep moving? Make your mind up woman!

Callisto and Oberon rising two

I'm really pleased with this pair, both are very different but look like potential event horses in their own way. They should mature around 16 hh.

William

he lost quite a lot of weight when we had wet weather but will now slowly gain it back, he's integrated into the main herd which will teach him manners.

David Austen roses

I haven't had much success with his roses until I planted the climber James Galway, this is it's second season and I think it's going to thrive.

Happily hacking alone

Jezz hacked out alone with no problems including seeing pigs for the first time. She met up with C riding Layla and rode home together, but touch wood, has been an angel so far..

Leo

I think he might have inherited his Dad's good walk..

Leo day four

Posted by Picasa

We start training them for lateral work early....

Posted by Picasa

Leo legs it!

I had to catch his dam to get near enough to him to touch him, and he is a feisty little devil!

Galileo (Leo)

His legs are still bent but that often takes a while to straighten out, but everything else seems fine.

Jasper

This is the last ever foal by Ambertson ex the same dam as this year's foal. (4 year old)
He is looking a bit lean because recently he got an abscess in both back feet.. He's on the mend now and putting weight on nicely, he will start being trained probably next month, once we are sure his feet are ok and he looks a bit better. I think his finished height will be at least 16.2 hh, he's 16. 1 hh now.

Rene

he's started back in work this week only to get mud rash!
it will soon be gone and he can start hacking.
